Mena Alexandera Suvari, born in 1979 is an American model, actress and designer. Her birth date was 13 February 1979. Shortly after beginning her career as a model she soon transitioned into acting after appearing in guest roles on 1990's TV shows like Boy Meets World and High Incident. The first time she appeared in film was her part in the drama Nowhere. The actress made her way to important roles thanks to her performance on American Beauty for which she received nominations for the BAFTA Award and American Pie both of which earned her wider attention. Since then she appeared in Loser (2000) with her American Pie co-star Jason Biggs and then played the principal character in the comedy Sugar & Spice (2001). The film also featured her in the independent 2002 drama Spun as well as the 2004 action feature Trauma.
