Alana and Alyssa
Alana De La Garza has established herself as a household name in the world of the television. In the year 1976, De La Garza was born to a Mexican-American father and an Irish-American mom in Columbus Ohio. In no time she was moving to Texas and pursued her physical therapy degree at University of Texas. De La Garza didn't stay long in Texas before relocating to Orlando, Florida. In Orlando, she played many roles, ranging including local independent films and world-wide commercials. The small parts didn't stop her from finding out that she loved acting. Then she moved into New York and in 2001 she scored her first part in the soap opera daytime All My Children as Rosa Santos. During the early part of the 2000s She appeared on small roles on JAG Vegas as well as Two and a Half Men. In 2004, she was offered her first major series role on the short-lived show The Mountain. De La Garza had the pleasure of working with some great TV actors like Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Mitch Pileggeggi. In 2006, she was cast as A.D.A. in Law & Order. Connie Rubirosa. The actress was on the show for 85 episodes. Her character then flocked to the short-lived spinoff Law & Order: LA. De La Garza was nominated for numerous awards for her character including Best Supporting Actress Television Imagen Foundation Awards or even ALMA Award nominated. In 2008, she received the Impact Award at National Hispanic Media Coalition's Outstanding Performance Award for a Dramatic Television Series. Just a few minutes later, De La Garza was cast in CSI Miami in a recurring part. She played Marisol Delko, the wife of the character of David Caruso Horatio Caine. She played Dr. Lena Solis in NBC's dark drama Do No Harm. After only two episodes, the show was cancelled. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. Her parents are born of Italian descent and has a younger brother Cory who is 10 years her junior. Milano was raised in a conservative, religious family. Milano began her acting career aged seven years old after her babysitter accompanied her in an audition. Four of the four girls chosen out of over 1,000 potential candidates included Milano. Milano is featured in TV ads, Off-Broadway productions as well as the American premier of Jane Eyre.
